Meet your hosts at Eight Zero Zero, Ahmad Mansorifard and Dominique Gilgen.
Ahmad began his career as kitchen help in New York City. After emigrating to Montreal, he was engaged by a major hotel where the executive chef recognized his talent and potential and proceeded to teach Ahmad the fine art of haute cuisine. After completing his apprenticeship, Ahmad along with his wife purchased a restaurant in Cornwall and opened what was then known as Mangi's. Ahmad welcomes you to Eight Zero Zero and recommends the lamb shank or the filet mignon.
Dominique Gilgen, the architect, grew up close to Montreal. She adds the style and flare to the Eight Zero Zero environment and to the menu. Design comes naturally to her. Her artistic talent in crafting and finely tuning the restaurant and menu has earned her numerous compliments from her guests. Dominique welcomes you to Eight Zero Zero and recommends the rack of lamb or the veal with mustard sauce.
